Volunteers are needed to work on the renovation of the decomposed granite pathways in the demonstration garden. Your leader will provide instruction how to regrade and install decomposed granite along the path. This work is being done alongside members of the California Landscape Contractors Association, who are providing quality control and specialized equipment.
For a safety precaution, the gates will be closed to visitors on this work day.
Make sure to wear closed-toed shoes. Gloves and tools will be provided. You may want to wear a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and long sleeves/pants for protection. Bring a water bottle so that you stay hydrated throughout the day. Safety is important. We appreciate your time!
Please note that volunteers must be 16 or older, with the exception of an adult guardian working beside you. All volunteers are required to sign an application and waiver. If you have any questions, please contact the office at (714) 842-4772 between the hours of 8 am and 1 pm, Mondays thru Saturday.
